Minus One!

InsyaAllah, one more day to go for the wedding prep and on Friday 11th of March mudahan2 segala urusan berjalan dengan lancar. Aminn yarabbal alamin.

Today i had an appointment recommended by a close friend to meet Ms. J for a pre-wed getaway! hehe. Getaway packages includes facial & hair treatment, body massage + scrub, medi, pedi and hand & foot spa + paraffin.

I must say being a first timer to do hands and legs waxing was an experience indeed. Mcm kan bari pengsan rasanya. On the other hand, threading is less painful and membari kan tidur. 

I lied..

... if i say im not nervous. 3 weeks and counting. Mudahan semua berjalan dengan lancar. aminnnn

Alhamdulillah, all the door gifts had been packed and im left with few invitations yet to be sent out, less than 10 to go and im all set, insyaAllah. 

I've also texted all my MUAs today and confirmed the dates, timing and venues =)

All i need now is my nikah dress, a husband to be and an imam and a big family family to be there on the special day. hehe. Will update more soon =)

Sunday Shopping Spree

I just got back from bandar & tutong to get my berbedak gifts and some other stuffs for hantaran deco. My new card reader failed to operate - error to read the memory card and i still cant find my old card reader. Oh! seperti kami tidak ada jodoh. huhu. As soon as i found my old card reader or get the new card reader working normal, will share with u guys what i found and some stuffs that i bought =)

Sneak Peek - The Chosen One & other arrangement

Visited the hall 3 weeks ago. Still waiting patiently for the confirmation. Mudahan its confirm soon. Aminn yarabbal alamin. 

So far, what we have to date:

1. Our Pre-Nikah dates - Alhamdulillah, both of us got the February slots. 

2. Caterer - Confirmed since September last year for all  the events.

3. Photogs - Confirmed for all events. Half payment made, so i dont have to worry on the big amount of balance =)

4. MUA - Confirmed for sanding.

5. Room renovation - Old room was demolished, rebuilt and extended. Completed last December. 

6. Room accessories - Includes laminated floorings, downlights, chandeliers and electric cables extended (a separate arrangement, since room renovation does not include this scope of work)

6. Bebedak and Sanding dress - Sent, confirmed and deposits made.

7. Berbedak accessories - Booked and deposit made. 

8. Other accessories - Bought the TV sets, air-con last december.

9. Pelaminan - Confirmed.

10. Bed - Payment made. Got a call from them today and was told, it has arrived. InsyaAllah, delivery is be made next week.

11. Mattress & customized wardrobe - 85% payment made. Mattress is ready since december and request them to hold and deliver with the wardrobe in feb. Wardrobe is only ready in Feb.

12. Door gifts - Nikah and Sanding done. Still deciding for berbedak + dikir gifts.

13. Floor lamps - bought and kept in existing room =)

14. Flower - bought a luggage of flowers for hantaran and room deco. 

15. Hantaran - got most of my hantaran ready for deco. Yet to get his stuffs.

16. Hantaran stands for her - booked.

17. Invitation Cards - draft completed. Still waiting for hall confirmation, latest by next week. Once confirmed, printing can start.

18. DIY bunga telur - In progress. 70% completed.

What needs to be done:

1. Send his & hers Nikah attire. Was supposed to sent it today, but i did my room spring cleaned instead.

2. Get confirmation from the MUA for Nikah & berbedak. Seriously regret for not settling this earlier =s

3. Bed covers for Nikah & Sanding.

4. Shoes - for all the events.

5. Get the wallpapers & curtain once the bedset is ready.

6. Side table + dress table - still searching for the right ones. Eyes caught on some furniture, but the prices are killing the budgets =( Wanted to customized this but havent got the quotation yet.

7. Get carpets for the room.

8. Frames for His & Her.

9. Get some styrofoam blocks + satins for his DIY hantaran. Get gangsa from nini and start building the structure.

10. Bi-weekly beauty treatment - including facials =)

11. Eat well & sleep well.

The outmost important thing - Tawakkal & Doa.  Mudahan semua urusan berjalan dengan lancar. Aminn yarabbal alamin.

64 days and counting..

I've been neglecting this blog for more than a month now. eh wait, I have do have 3 entries sitting on my draft post, waiting to be posted. i havent done that cos most of the story putus ditengah jalan. hehe.

December has been a was a hectic month i'd say. Minus the very short vacation lah (one of the many reasons that i didnt update any post here =))  I managed to buy some flowers for hantaran and room decoration though. Yet, menyasal nda membali byk hari atu coz mcm sikit kejadian nya. So, insyaAllah will fly of over the weekend to get more flowers for the hantaran, insyaAllah. Mudah2 murah rezeki, aminn..


Aside from having too many meeting this week (awuu, iatah bah ah baru jua 1st week of January 2011), we have settle our sanding baju last Monday and pelaminan just last night. 


Wedding invitations will be completed insyaAllah in next 2 weeks and my buah tangan arrangement done udah this morning. Went to book for kursus nikah today and seriously, 1 sejam bah nunggu alum urg nya timbul2. Nasib jua kerusi tungu yg nyaman, mun nda ngusut eh olehnya. 


I've also got confirmation on my customized wardrobes and bed set. Bought my mattress separately and paid 80% of it udah. 20% balance upon delivery.


I've also selected my wallpaper but havent decide on the curtains yet. kajap mau light lace curtains, kajap mau blackout curtains. decision. decision.


The room is still empty - chandelier, tv and aircon saja bru ada.

Please dont panic!

Just realised i got another 102 days to go until my nikah day and i have NOT finalized anything yet. From the wedding gown to the wedding dais =s breathe in breathe out~ fuh fuh fuh!

i was so hooked up with the room renovations and activity men-survey for its accessories and our wedding invitations =s Plus, for the past two weeks, we had family weddings including this week and the following week and even on xmas day and 1st January next year.

I must stay focus on the wedding preps and spare some of my own time to prepare eveything. Tawakkal and usaha. InsyaAllah dipermudahankan  Allah. aminnn..

Now back to the wedding preps. 

I've had appointments for my wedding dias and wedding gowns. InsyaAllah will spare some one or two hours for our second appointment this week to re-confirm everything =)

Last week one of the selected vendor came for the room measurement for the flooring and wallpaper. And hopefully by next week (cos this week will be another hectic family wedding activities), i'll get a different vendor to come over to measure the wall for our customized wardrobes and other furnitures.

This week "Must Do List":

1. Send materials for my Nikah dress.

 - Tailor - selected!

 - Design - confirmed! 

 - Veil - need to check the cheapest veil in town, otherwise sewa saja (price ranges from $30-$60)

 - Nikah accessories - tbc

2. Wedding gown.

 - Colour and design have been proposed, waiting to get feedback from the shop.

 - Get measurement for both bride & groom to be.

3. Bed selection - i've been trying to make a decision since the past 2 weeks. And surprise! surprise! one of the selected shop called last week and gave me a good promotion (from 1.3 k to 1k and now up for grab for only $888!) but the fiance don't really fancy the design as much as i do. 

Nya, 'simple banar eh'. T_T So might decided the other bed (our first choice awal2 hari atu) Hopefully, i can get them to order the bed this week and sampai prolly by end of december or mid january next year, insyaAllah.

3. Down payment and to confirm the wedding theme for all the 3 events - Nikah, berbedak and sanding for both bride and groom side. 

4. To decide my MUA for Nikah & berbedak. Alhamdulillah, MUA for sanding confirmed udah =)

5. Call and make appointment with a vendor to measure my wall for the customized wardrobes & furnitures.

Utk menghilangkan rasa 'panic' saya and biskita, i'll list down what has been done so far. hehe

1. Caterer - Alhamdulillah. Booking done last september for all 3 events. 

2. Pengangun - booked! pengangun yg sama masa my brother and my other 2 cousins =)

3. Wedding invitation - Draft completed. Proof-read by the parents. Kan choose the best price saja lagi. We went to the popular vendor, and honestly i was shocked! Dulu price nya nda jua cani ani =s so we opt to survey the price in miri, kl and indonesia. 

3. Room renovation - 40% completed? The contractor need to rise the flooring saja lagi to balance it, supaya sama level with the room yg kana extend and paint the walls. 

Once this part is completed, i can get my vendor to start installing the laminated floor and tampal the wallpaper for my feature wall, get my bed, mattress, carpets and tv. 

4. Hantaran

We came to an agreement that we will have atleast 10 hantaran and max. 15 only.

Bride - 5/10 (atleast half of the list dpt udah. hehe)

Groom - 2/11 (ini fiance memilih wooo =p)

5 needs to be done and only 4 half half done, so far. Kira okey lah tu.. ehehehe *ketawa nerbes*
